A young chef, Chef Sheridan, decided to heat up the passengers that came off the flights with something a little bit different.
He brewed rich, dark coffee and added in some Irish whiskey, some brown sugar and topped it off with whipped cream – creating the drink we all love and know today.
The Stags Head keeps the Irish coffee tradition alive today by sticking to the classic recipe.

Great Irish Pub in town I wanted to experience authentic Irish food and atmosphere in a pub. Lunchtime at the Stags Head was lovely. The food and service was fantastic. Would recommend to all visitors.
Great place! Probably our favorite pub in Dublin, and we went to a few. Went there for lunch and a few pints. Food was absolutely amazing and the staff couldn’t have been better. We loved this place. Highly recommend!
