Great staff, Great atmosphere. The bar manager Eric was great and chatted to us for over an hour, on a busy Saturday night. The fact that he was able to carry 2 pints of Guinness in each hand was impressive enough, but the time he took to speak to us was something unique, and something that has been lost amongst Dublin pubs in the last decade or so. One of the most important attributes of a great barman is the ability to make time to chat to the locals and get to know them, to chat about everything from politics to history to sports and family, and at the same time to balance the running of the bar and keep the taps running. Eric has all of the above skills and more. I wish him and his team all the best, and glad to be able to say that at last there is bar in Dublin where everyone knows your name! 😊
