Excellent Guiness Lovely place, just managed to get a seat. Friendly bar staff nice selection of drinks. Lovely old Victorian pub.
A landmark pub A landmark pub in Dublin! Old Victorian style, dark solid wood, red leather, impressive bar and a stag's head hanging over it (outside too, at the facade)...We visited for a late lunch on a Friday, there were many customers but we managed to find a nice table. The waitress was polite and quick. We ordered our Smithwick's beers (our first try of the Smithwick's brand in our Dublin trip), a red and a pale ale and we shared the sandwich of the day: open style with salmon and side of fries. It was very good (the bread too)! We wanted the pulled pork from the regular menu but they didn't have it.The atmosphere was the best for us travelers to get a first impression of a Dublin pub!Prices OK, I think we paid ~23€ (incl. small tip).
Classic Irish Pub Small, quaint, charming. It's a classic Irish pub and is always packed. I love coming here in winter for the warm reception and to get out of the cold. In summer on a nice evening, it's really cool because bands play in the street, people outside are dancing and singing along, and it's totally great craic.
